The Workshop Part-M for non-complex, non-commercial aviation organized by Europe Air Sports in co-ordination with EASA in Cologne on 4 and 5 November has been a great success.
More than 60 attendants have listened to the presentations of EASA and Europe Air Sports and participated in the discussions with a large number of questions. The conference was opened by Mr Patrick Goudou, Executive Director of EASA, and Sir John Allison, President of Europe Air Sports.
Mr Claude Probst, Rulemaking Director of EASA, and Mr Eric Sivel as well as Mr David Roberts from Europe Air Sports made presentations. The following day the questions were answered by Mr Eric Sivel. Concern as well as questions on clarification in general and on a number of subjects in Part-M was expressed clearly by the audience and responded by EASA in an open and constructive way. It was encouraged to put these remarks in the Comment documents to the NPA 7/2005 (deadline for submission 24 November 2005 !).
